Noroo Design Studio Project: 'Cover All Vol.07' Color Trend Book (360 ° campaign)
The Client: Noroo Design Studio
Project Brief:
Originally planned as a traditional color trend book, ‘Cover All Vol.07’ evolved into a fully immersive hospitality activation—allowing guests to physically engage with the trend colors in a multi-sensory environment.
To bring this concept to life, I led the development of an experiential installation inside a luxury hotel space, transforming a static book into a walk-in, interactive brand story that connected color design, social trends, and spatial storytelling. The goal was to go beyond print and create a living, evolving space that invited audiences to engage with the design trends in real time.
Approach:
1. Print & Digital Content:
• Designed the ‘Cover All Vol.07’ trend book, integrating three-dimensional visual elements that highlight key design trends.
• Conducted research on global design trends and social phenomena to develop a visual concept that aligns with analytical content.
2. Experiential Design:
• Collaborated with a hotel to create an immersive installation featuring the visual concepts from the trend book.
• The installation brought the design trends to life in a physical space, offering guests a unique and engaging experience.
3. Merchandising:
• Created branded products such as tote bags and postcards, expanding the campaign’s reach and providing tangible touchpoints for audiences.
4. Scalable & Shareable Activation
• Designed the experience to be easily adaptable for different spaces and highly shareable on social media, maximizing impact beyond the installation itself.
Client Feedback:
• "The visual concept and creative direction of 'Cover All Vol.07' have set a new benchmark for trend books. The integration of design trends with social phenomena is exceptional." - Noroo Design Studio Creative Director.
Visual Contents - "Cover All Vol.07: A comprehensive guide to global design trends."
The Objective: To develop a compelling and practical color trend book, ‘Cover All Vol.07,’ that not only analyzes global design trends through the lens of social phenomena but also transforms these insights into an immersive, multi-channel campaign. The goal was to create a cohesive brand experience that extended from print media into physical installations and branded merchandise, enhancing brand visibility, engaging diverse audiences, and establishing ‘Cover All Vol.07’ as a benchmark for innovation in trend forecasting.
Results and Impact:
• IF Design Award 2024:‘Cover All Vol.07’ received this prestigious award for its excellence in design and innovative approach to presenting color trends.
• Successfully transformed the project from a print-only format into a multi-channel experience.
• The hotel installation enhanced brand visibility, attracting over 10,000 visitors in the first month.
• Branded merchandise, including tote bags and postcards, achieved a 95% distribution rate during the installation, contributing to lasting engagement beyond the project’s initial launch.
